Evergreen Cemetery is located in Freeman, Washington, on the east side of Highway 27, just south of the Freeman Store.
William Jacob Boy sold the original two acres for use as a cemetery. It is not known when the first burial was made in this cemetery. The earliest one I have listed is 1895.
Evergreen Cemetery Association was incorporated in 1908. At a meeting of the Association on Feb. 02, 1940, a resolution was made to turn the cemetery over to the Township.
