Oregon Cavalry on 14 Mar 1863 at Salem, Oregon for a term of 3 years.
From the Weekly Reveille of 6 Jul 1900:
The funeral of Captain Charles Anderson will be held this morning at 10 o'clock
at Warinner's undertaking parlors. Rev. Lane, of Fairhaven, will officiate.
