Frances Marion Caldwell was born 23 oct 1853 (per family bible) in IL or IA.
Many records & even her headstone list her name as Frances E Caldwell Haller.

She moved to Nebraska where she married in Washington Co to a Theodore W Lowe on 26 Dec 1870 and they had two daughters, Theresa b. 1871 and Grace b. 1874.

She then married a Mr. Vernon, and they were blessed with a daughter, Blanche, born about 1881 in Colorado. Sadly, Mr. Vernon was no more, and Frances Vernon and her little girl moved back to Nebraska where she met W.D. Haller, a druggist from Wisconsin.

Mrs. Frances Vernon married W.D. (William D.) Haller, a druggist from Wisconsin, in Cass County, Nebraska November 27, 1885. The June 1885 state census notes that Frances was a widow, Frances Vernon, with a daughter, Blanch, born about 1881 in Colorado. At the time of their marriage, Frances was 29 years old. W.D. Haller was 39.

In 1900, the Hallers were living on Colfax Street in Blair, Nebraska. W.D. was a druggist, and Frances cared for the home. A German servant, Anna Clausen, helped Frances with housework, cooking and laundry.
The 1900 US Census lists:
W.D. Haller, 54, b. Apr 1846, Wis., head, druggist
Frances Haller, 43, b.Dec 1852,Ill, wife
Marie F. Haller, 7, b.Aug 1892, Neb, daughter, at school
Bernard Haller, 10, b.Oct. 1889, Neb, son, at school
Jacob Haller, 48, b.Apr., 1852, Wis, brother, retired farmer
Anna Clausen, 25, b. 1875, Germany, servant

Frances died in Los Angeles, California. Her son, Bernard, and daughter, Marie, lived in California. She was sent back to Nebraska to be buried next to her husband.
