Enoch McClanaban (sic, McClanahan), age 3 years was enumerated September 27, 1850, at Savanna, Carroll County, Illinois, with Robert McClanahan 27, Adaline McClanahan 26, Edward McClanahan 7, Allen McClanahan recently born, Eunice Ensbey 20.

Enoch C. McClanahan enrolled at Marysville, California, November 1 and mustered in as private of Captain James H. Shepard's Company K, 7th California Infantry, November 7, 1864. Private McClanahan was transferred to Captain George D. Kendall's Company I, same regiment, November 24, 1864. He was posted to Arizona Territory. Private McClanahan was discharged at the Presidio of San Francisco, California, March 31, 1866.

Enoch C. McClanahan, age 25 years, registered to vote at Chico, Butte County, California, September 2, 1873. Enoch C. McClanahan married Viola Hudson at Multnomah, Oregon, during 1891. Enoch C McClanahan, age 51 years, was enumerated June 2, 1900, at Seattle, King County, Washington, with Viola McClanahan 42. The enumeration shows that Enoch and Viola had been married for ten years and that Viola was the mother of two children, neither of whom were then living. E. C. McClanahan, age 65 years, was enumerated April 25, 1910, at Seattle, King County, Washington, with Viola McClanahan 52. The enumeration shows that Enoch and Viola had been married for 19 years and that Viola was the mother of two children, both of whom were then living.
