RITZVILLE, Wash., July 9. Clark Fifield, age 82, one of the oldest settlers in Adams county, was buried yesterday from Haigh's chapel. He was born in Oakland county, Mich., and came to this county in 1887, setting on Rattle Snake flat. He served in the Civil war with Company L 14th Michigan cavalry. The funeral was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Russell of the Washtucna Presbyterian church and burial was in Bemis cemetery, near the farm where he spent so many years. He is survived by his widow and five children.
