Obit/Notes | Stevens Post Vice-Commander 1915 --Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Thursday, February 15, 1917, page 18, column C FUNERAL OF VETERAN TO BE HELD FRIDAY [photo] The funeral of Michael Brunson, commander of the Stevens Post, G. A. R., will be held at the Home Undertaking chapel at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. W. L. Fisher will officiate. Mr. Brunson was born in Pennsylvania, October 19, 1839. He was married in 1866 to Josephine S. Johnston, who died a year ago. Two children survive. He had been a resident of Seattle since 1885. January 27 of this year he suffered a stroke of paralysis. The funeral services will be under the direction of the Grand Army of the Republic.
