Rosanna A. "Rosie" (Hicks) and C.C. Durham were married on October 2, 1881 in Roane Co. TN., after the death of his first wife, Mary Ann Detherage Durham. Rosanna and Christopher Columbus Durham share a grave marker. f/o Franklin Ross, Sarah Caroline "Carrie" (D Edgemon, Elizabeth Ann "Rebecca" (D) Calhoun, William Henry Durham, Josephine Isabel "Josie" Durham, and Thomas Martin Durham. Rosie and Christopher did not have children together, she helped raise his six children. Engraved on marker, Born with above date, Died with above date. Christopher helped organize Steptoe Butte Baptist Church in 1892. He and his family came from TN in 1891. In 1901 Christopher was on the Board of Trustees at Bethel Cemetery.
