He is buried next to his mother Julia A. Root Luce in Edmonds Municipal Cemetery but no tombstone is on his grave.

Funeral services for William W. Luce, who died at his home, 2215 Rockefeller, Saturday morning, will be held at the chapel of Challacombe and Fickel at 3 O'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. W. H. L. Marshall, assisted by the Women's Relief corps, will conduct the services. The Women's Relief corps will meet at the Armory to attend Mr. Luce's funeral in a body. Interment will be in the family plot at Edmonds.
